Jessie Mott's drawings are here and I can't quite find the words for these wonderful drawings. Part unconscious channeling, part sophisticated art making, they straddle much territory. Distinctly feminist in iconography they harken back to early civilizations and deities. Certainly the words 'menagerie' and 'beastiary' come to mind. We have installed most of the smaller drawings on the wall and have a box of larger drawings too. Come on by to take a look.
